Friends,

Yesterday I told you I officially filed to be listed on the 2023 ballot and today we have more good news!

This morning the University of Houston’s Hobby School of Public Affairs released the first of two surveys relating to the upcoming Mayoral race and City Council races.

First, our campaign to make Houston history is now polling at 7% with likely voters who would consider voting for me, with 1% of that definitely voting for me!

As expected, the career politicians lead the pack because of their name recognition & money. However, the poll also shows that 22% of likely voters are undecided.

All of this is good news because not only are we making attempts to reach registered voters, but we are putting energy into activating non-voters and those who have given up on local politics.

We are building a coalition of people from across the political spectrum who are sick of the same old garbage and want real solutions. Thanks to you, this poll shows our efforts are having an impact.

Donate to the Broze for Mayor campaign today!

Thank you to every single one of you who donated, attended events, prayed, and campaigned to spread the word about the Broze for Mayor campaign. Without you we wouldn’t have the money or the confidence to take this movement for a better Houston as far and wide as we possibly can.

We need your financial support as much as possible for these remaining 3 months and 2 weeks until Election Day on November 7th! If you can dig deep and donate $5, 10, 23, or even 100 we will put it to great use!

We plan to rent as many billboards as possible around Houston. We will need $5,000 to 10,000 for 1 or 2 billboards. We also want to run ads on streaming services and radio. In short, we need your help to make sure we can get out the word about the Broze for Mayor vision for Houston.

Thanks for the support!

– Derrick Broze
