The Broze for Mayor Campaign Featured in Local Media!

I hope you are doing well in this Houston heat! We are now in the early days of a sweaty Houston summer, and that means its time for the Mayoral campaign to pick up!

We are busy behind the scenes planning upcoming meetings with local political organizations, activist groups, and civic associations. We are also planning a concert for July 9th, stay tuned for details!

For now, we want to share with you a recent article from Houston’s Landing, a new media outlet in Houston which describes itself as non-partisan. I was pleasantly surprised to see the coverage of our campaign.

“Derrick Broze is a published author, journalist and community activist running for mayor on a platform of reducing governmental and corporate influence in the lives of Houstonians.

Broze, who first ran for mayor in 2019, hopes to amend Houston’s charter to limit the city’s “strong mayor” model.”

I am going to be meeting with Houston’s Landing later this month for more coverage of our campaign, so stay on the lookout for that!
